By using LoteAI you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service — there is nothing to cancel, because there is no account to hold one.

These terms apply to anyone using loteai.org. There is no account, so there is no way to identify a user and no way for us to apply different terms to different people.

LoteAI is for adults aged 21 and over. If you are under 21, please do not use this site.

The practical reason is advertising. This site is funded by ads served by a third-party network, and that network decides which ones appear. We do not choose them, we cannot review them before they are shown, and we cannot age-check the people looking at them. We would rather not put advertising in front of children that we cannot stand behind — so instead of claiming to filter it, we set an age limit.

There is a second reason. The model that answers your messages belongs to a third-party provider whose own usage policies are written for adults, and using this site means your messages are sent to them. Those terms apply whether or not you have read ours.

We cannot verify your age, and because there is no account there is nothing to check it against. This is a condition you are agreeing to, not a system that enforces it.

In your own browser, and not on our servers. Sending a message writes it to your device's local storage (IndexedDB). It is not uploaded, it is not synced to another device, and we have no way to read it.

There is one exception, and it is worth isolating: while a message is being answered it does leave your device. It is sent to our server and passed on to the model that produces the reply. That is unavoidable — an AI chat cannot answer without sending the question somewhere — and it lasts only as long as the exchange.

Clearing your browser's site data, or using the “Erase all” control in the sidebar, removes your copy immediately and permanently. There is no backup of it anywhere else for us to restore from, because we never had one.

LoteAI is a free chat interface to a third-party language model. It is provided as-is, with no charge, no subscription and no paid tier.

It is run as an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OpenAI, Groq, or any other model provider, and their own terms govern their part of the exchange — which happens when your message is sent to them to produce a reply.

You keep every right you already had in whatever you type or upload. We claim no ownership of it and we license none of it.

Because conversations are stored in your own browser rather than on a server, there is no account of yours for us to hand over. The privacy policy explains the mechanism in full.

We do not train models on your messages and we do not sell or share them with advertisers. Advertising on this site is served by a third-party network that sets its own cookies; that arrangement does not give it your conversations.

One thing to be clear about, because it is easy to assume otherwise: a document you attach is read in your browser, but the file itself is then transmitted to the model in full, like any other message. Attaching a file does not make it a private channel — it keeps the file out of our storage, not off the network, and it is larger than the question you asked. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is sent and how much.

The service is funded by advertising and runs on modest hardware. To keep it available to everyone, there are limits on how fast and how often a single visitor can send messages.

If you reach one, you will be told how long to wait rather than shown an error. Quotas can change without notice, and heavy automated use may be blocked entirely.

Please do not use the service for anything unlawful, for bulk automated scraping, or in a way that interferes with other people using it.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

It runs on rented hardware and a third-party model, either of which can fail without warning. A generated answer can be wrong, and you should not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions. Check anything that matters.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of LoteAI are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including lost data, lost profit, or any claim arising from a generated answer.

The service may be interrupted or withdrawn at any time. Features may change or be removed, and a change that removes something you rely on may happen without warning.

Nothing here commits the operators to continuing to run LoteAI indefinitely. It is offered free, and free services are not obliged to last.

If these terms change, the updated version will be published on this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means the revised terms apply.
